Major Highlights

This release rebuilds the Wizflow assistant so it can generate the images, email templates and PDF templates a flow needs, and show its plan while it works through a large build. Live pages get an Input block that saves what the customer types.

Asset Generation in the Assistant

Asset Generation

Ask the assistant for an image, an email or a PDF template, on its own or as part of a flow it builds, and it creates the asset and connects it to the right trigger.
  • Images — illustrations, photos, transparent images and vector logos
  • Email templates — HTML that renders in email clients, one at a time or as a set
  • PDF templates — HTML for the PDF trigger
  • Assets from your site — the assistant can pull images from a web address you give it
  • Cost in the usage meter — generated images show up as their own line; template costs are included in the total

Plans for Big Builds

Assistant Plans

On a request with several parts that depend on each other, the assistant writes a plan first and ticks each step off in the builder as it finishes it. Ask it to make a plan first if you want one on a smaller request.

Live Page Input Block

Input Block

A text, number or amount field on a live page that saves what the customer types to a response or a data model property when they leave the field.

Improvements

Triggers & Automation

  • JSON to XML root element — name the root element, for example form1, and target it with a namespace
  • JSON to XML empty elements — leave out fields with no value, and list the elements a receiver still needs written as empty elements

Flow Builder

  • Cookie function — read a value from the visitor’s cookies, with the same Base64, XML and JSON options as Query Parameter
  • Date Math function — shift a date by years, months or days and get its year, month, day and weekday
  • Fallback Value function — the first value in a list that isn’t empty

Security

  • Dependencies — every known vulnerability in third-party packages is fixed, apart from one low-severity issue in a development tool, and the platform runs on Node 24
  • Mail transport — dreamplan.io and wizflow.io publish an MTA-STS policy, in testing mode for now

Changed

  • JSON to XML header — the XML declaration no longer includes standalone="yes". XML parsers treat both forms the same; check any receiver that compares the output as text

Bug Fixes

  • Required questions — required text, textarea, email, amount, number, year, percentage and age questions no longer accept an empty answer. Amount fields used to show 0 while saving an empty value
  • Multiple choice — answers have their colours back, and buttons have a hover colour
